Who exactly invented the humble Tikka Masala and it's origins are still a mystery and one which still has yet to be solved. There are many versions of story circulating as to how it came about to be a great British Classic loved by all who adore a curry.

One story goes back to the 1960's where a Indian restaurant in Glasgow had a request from a customer who asked for a mild sauce to go over his Tandoori Chicken Tikka to make it more succulent. In fact it was such a hit that he came back as a returning customer many times and introduced the dish to his family and friends so the Classic Tikka Masala was born.

Our Classic Tikka Masala comes to life with our Magic Tarka Sauce and Spice Blend that brings just a little kick of spice and produces a flavoursome and creamy tandoori spiced sauce perfect with Chicken, Seafood or Veggies.
