The origins of the Dopiaza curry go as far back as Moghul times in Hyderabad a region in the Punjab and was invented accidentally by Mullah Do-Piyaza, the cook of a Moghul Emperor Akbar who added too many onions to a dish. Luckily the Emperor loved it so much that this new dish was born. 

Ironically the chef's surname ' Do-Piyaza ' also means ' Double the Onions ' so you could say that this story was mean't to happen.

Our Punjabi Dopiaza comes inspired with bold and deep flavours which incorporate an array of spices which perfectly match Chicken, Lamb, Veggies, Paneer and Seafood. Just like us if you love Dopiaza but prefer it hotter why not add a chilli or two.
